Hi Bhavin,
        There were some probs associated with the Chip Special CD's,
especially the second CD. So I don't think that u can work with that. Try
out the JDK 1.2.2 in the April issue of PCQ. It works quite coooly. Also
this JDK has the new features of Java 2, unlike the one in the Chip CD. 
        To install the the JDK(in the PCQ) issue, u just have to include
the bin/ directory of the JDK in ur path. That's all. U can easily work
around. Also another thing(experience ki baaath hai), Java coding with GNU
Emacs/XEmacs is the ultimate in pleasure. Just try it. If u want I can
mail my .emacs 2 u ......
