Why should you reinstall just to set your monitor right? Isn't it possible
to just set it right with xf86config in console mode (enter 'linux 3' at
lilo prompt if init 3 is the console mode). I don't think it is a good idea
to reinstall an operating system just to set a hardware configuration right.
