Nex/nvi is close to IEEE Std1003.2 (``POSIX''). That doc-
ument differs from historical ex/vi practice in several
places; there are changes to be made on both sides.

The macro works on a freshly installed Solaris box too and consistent
with the UNIX philosophy :)

I know, POSIX is lame in that it didn't define colors in vi. So I use
vim extensions, when I need that functionality. But when the standard
can do something, I try to use it.
