hi hitesh

i had this problem last week. PHP wasnt compiled with the --with-mysql
option ?

once you've downloaded the .tar.gz or used cvs, use
./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs=[path-to-apxs]

i'm not sure if the apxs bit is necessary though

jagadish
