Hi,
I have setup a HP deskjet printer(930c) under redhat 6.2 and have
configured it under samba. The problem is that when i issue a print command
from the windows machine, it takes ages for the printer to start printing.
However on the localmachine the print job starts immediately.
secondly, when i see the linux box from windows machines i see the pronter
in the home directory itself and not in the printers directory where it
should be.
on running samba on the linux box it gives the message '172.31.44.183 sent
an invalid ICMP error to a broadcast',
what does this mean?
