I have rsync-2.4.1-2 installed on redhat 6.2; i have made all the
configuration files it requires on the server side,like
rsyncd.conf, rsyncd.pid.and i started the "rsync --daemon"
from the command prompt.which is listening to TCP port 873.
but when i start the rsync on the client side it gives the problem.
it gives the message "Permission denied
unexpected EOF in read-timeout"
but i have given no entry for "auth user" in the configure file.
Simultaneously the client can connect to server through rsh ,telnet,ftp
etc programs;please help me for establishing the rsync for the two
machines.
