news.vsnl.net.in - fastest and allows vsnl members to post
news.indianvalley.com - reasonably fast and allows posting
sunss105.cc.cycu.edu.tw - reasonably fast, allows posting but hangs with
fetchnews (leafnode program, fault may be with
fetchnews not server)
newsroom.cqu.edu.au - fast, no posting (good groups)
158.75.33.142 - medium speed, lots of groups, no posting
and of course:
news.freshmeat.net - 8 groups, no posting, fast (must for Linux user)
and someone suggested:
news.buzzardnews.com - have not checked this out yet
