nah... notebooks've been doing AGP for a while... the ATI 128 mobility is one
of the fastest cruisers on OpenGL, in notebooks. It's been available for the
powerbook for quite some time now, but they're soon releasing a PC version.
I simply adore the Mac, i hope i can buy one sometime...

Most of the gfx cards are just std. gfx cards tweaked to draw less power, so
if the card works on a desktop, it works on the laptop too... no probs in 
that area. same thing goes for the sound card too... my laptop has a C&T gfx
card, with ESS 1868 card, and Linux is a breeze on it.
