Joliet extension is readable on both Win and Linux. The Rockridge
extension is supported only on Linux, so you'll see 8.3 filenames if
you try to access a Rockridge CD under Win. Also remember that Joliet
doesn't support filenames > 64 characters.

Anyone who thinks UNIX is intuitive should be forced to write 5000 lines of
code using nothing but vi or emacs. AAAAACK!
(Discussion in comp.os.linux.misc on the intuitiveness of commands, especially
Emacs.)
