i have a YMF724 chipset ;-( . Redhat 6.2 recognises it as
"Fortemedia Inc. Xwave Q30001|". it further says that the drivers are
currently unsupported (obvious) but interestingly adds that it is
available with alsa. I installed the alsa drivers given on the PCQ but
don't know how to install 'em. But the big question is will they WORK ?
I think i saw a mail a coupla weeks back dealing with the same thing. i
don't exactly remember it, but i think it was also on a yamaha card..Did
it work that time ?
