hi list, I have a linux machine running SUSE 6.3 . One of the users has wriiten a program which connects to port 9002 on another machine . All the processes assocaiated with that user have been killed but netstat -a still shows connection ESTABLISHED on port 9002 .Anybody have any ideas as to how the port can be freed .??
