We have implement a similar facility in one of IVRS.
When the some one dials up, he is greeted with a voice message and asked to
hang up. The caller id reads his number and then linux box dial this number
to establish the voice or data connection. How ever we have tested this for
a terminal connection, but a ppp connection should not be difficult. This we
have done with perl script and vgetty.
