Why you used 2GB for win98,please make partition for win98 ->8GB.
because windows is that OS which give you the future.
here is example, your 17GB no problem with Windows installation and
configuration but see in Linux, still linux not support Large-Disk,but may
be
future, so what is result ?
Please read Large-disk-HOWTO and in your Linux CD's you find "Loadlin in
/docu"
(pls correct if I mistake)please try to read this.you have to boot linux
with
Dos and need to make batch file.
If you are new in Linux, I suggest you firstly read all information about
installation
>From CD's then procced.
