Well, you do have KDevelop bundled with kde...what distro are you
using?

Python does'nt have GUI as such...the interpreter is installed and
you do have a sort of ide called wish. You can write all the code you
want and point it to where the interpreter is anyway. Read the python
docs..they are more than anything to get you started. There are also
lots of links at http://python.org to online python tutorials.
