Check your DNS settings in /etc/resolv.conf - should be VSNL delhi's dns
numbers

As root do
# tar -xvpf licq.tar.gz (or whatever it is called)
# cd licq (whichever directory it is unzipped into)
# ./configure
# make install
there you are :)
actually it'd be wise to read the README and INSTALL files which you'll
see in the directory first ...
