Hello,
I have been trying to setup window maker and ran into this pecuiliar
problem.IN place of the mouse pointer (instead of a small arrow mark) i am
only able to see a white square of about 2 cms .the other parts of window
maker desktop is working fine.again one slight problem is that when i give a
new background it takes a long time for it to come up.my machine
specification is as follows,
MOuse:-Logitech Serial Mouse
processor:-intel celeron 466 mhz
disp card:-S3 Trio 3D(AGP Card)
VRAM:8MB
BIOS=VESA Bios
Monitor=Samsung SAMTRON 45 Bn
the current resolution my machine is working at is 800*600 at a depth of 24
bpp.
I tried reconfiguring the mouse again thru "mouseconfig" and again thru
XF86Setup.but the white block remains.(I am able to
do all the functions of a mouse pretty fine as double clicking etc..works
fine when I place a corner of the white square on the icon I want to click )
but it spoils all the beauty of a windowmaker environment.could somebody
guide me please.
