You can use a MUA like pine or mutt to read mail in Linux. A few days
back, SureshR had posted a link to a pine tips page, I am not sure,
but you'll get the link from http://www.socha.net.

Why don't you use fetchmail/sendmail/MUA to read email??

scripts to convert N'scape mails to pine folders.
