        Perhaps this is due to the multitasking. I tried ltrace and strace
but could not deduce anything. One thing is that although "ps |grep
grep" may give or not give output, whenever i did "ltrace ps 2> ~/a |grep
grep" i always got the output. 
        Probably the null output of "ps |grep grep" occurs when the ps
reads proc before the process id for grep is added in proc filesystem.
        Advise me as there is a huge chance of my being mistaken.
