i would like to know more about that. i am having everything in a single
2G partition. as i recently asked about expanding the partition, this
concept of using two partition sounds better.
how much size of second partition should i take? will 1G suffice?
from my existing running RH6.2 inst which dirs should i copy to this
second partition? (/root, /boot, /usr as you wrote)
is it recommended to do it in a running installation? need any conf
files be changed.
i would prefer if my exising 2G partition is my work partition (c, c++,
perl, html), and the new partition has permanent system files.
regards.
