thanks for replying.
it claims to read Linux partition from win, i thought that connected it
to linux. but i am not insisting. hope the thread ends.

actually i needed some software that can read/ write to linux partition
from win. for reading linux, there are some available. for writing, i
could find none. whoever claims to write, also adds a terse disclaimer
about damages at your own risk.
