i tried the suggestion abt pci burst on as given by u ppl but could not
get the flickering off.
as regards the monitor frequency rates i had configured it as per my
monitor manual..but if someone has an lg 1467 monitor (those really
popular ones abt 2 yrs back) please send me ur frequency settings(
currently as recommended r--- horizontal
30-50, vertiacal 50-90)
also i wud like to explain the flickering i get with 16 bit colours .i
get the 16 bit colour screen and if nothing is happening on screen then
the resolution is just fine dusnt flicker but as soon as i click my
mouse the desktop shifts rapidly fer a second with horizontal lines on
my screen and becomes normal again till the next movement...pls help
also wud like to know abt how to use an older xsever as suggested by
someone
