Command.com doesn't call Autoexec.bat on each invocation.
Neither the executing autoexec.bat will result in command.com
invocation.

(unless of-course the autoexec.bat file calls the command.com).

During boot-up it these files are called sequentially. And not from one
another.

But by fiddling with the .pif file for the command.com ( in windows) can
call any specified batch file on invocation of command.com
