<what I think I know>
Potato is the current "frozen" distribution version ; Once
its released, there will be no frozen, for awhile. We will have only
stable and unstable. Each release has a codename for various reasons
-- the Debian Policy Manual documents this well -- If you are too
lazy, I _could_ possibly browse through and paste appropriate
instances....
Inside the ftp server itself, I presume frozen and stable
will be symlinks to potato and slink, respectively, as will unstable
be, to woody. AFTER 2.2's release .. stable -> potato ; unstable ->
woody .. there will be no frozen .. its an "ln -sf potato frozen"
AFAIK
Probably, Manoj/Thaths could explain the whole thing?

Syed> :-) And BTW I am running Debain 2.3 i.e. Woody !!! :-) Bye
Again, IMHO, No you are not. Because, Woody could
technically come out as version 54.234 and not NECESSARILY 2.3
.. though all ideas point it to be 2.3 ... actually, it could be 3.0
too ... *shrug* ... Woody is woody is woody .. NOT 2.3

In case you didn't notice, symonds.net disallows finger
requests .. as in, it lets you finger, but gives out no information
... EVEN if your domain resolves -- so do check that out ;)
