Hi,
I was working on a problem involving something like this:
tail -f <somefile> | <someprogram> | <someotherprogram>
But the output gets buffered in the pipe, so I don't get the output
immediately. And it is not even line-buffered - the output comes only
after some 2 or 4 K has gone through the pipe.
Is there *any* way I can turn off buffering, or atleast make it
line-buffered, so that I can view output in realtime?
