I tried connecting the net using the root login. I know that should not be done. But i tried. I got a "No Dialtone" error. modem detected correctly during testing. When i try connecting using a different user created during installation, it prompts me for root password. And on giving, it does nothing. Nothing happens, absolute nothing. Pls guide.
