Sir/Madam,
I was trying to setup my linux for accessing and sending mail through my
satyam online account. I have setup ppp connection using Gnome PPP
configuration tooI and am able to connect to internet and do usual internet
browsing without problem. I have configured sendmail and am able to send
mails. Fetchmail is not working.
.fetchmailrc file contents in my home directory are given below
set daemon 0
poll imap.satyam.net.in proto imap user arjunaraoc pass <mypassword without
angular brackets>
When I give command fetchmail -a -k -v after establishing the conection, I
see the transactions between my computer and stayam online computer. After
capabilities are exchanged, the command terminates saying invalid username
or password although i have given the correct password
Can you tell me what is wrong and give me full instructions on making this
work?
Where does the fetchmail store the received mail. How do I access it using
Netscape?
