You've set the disk cache size to 4 kB?!! By defaut, Netscape, atleast my
Netscape 4.73, disk cache is set at 5 MB by default. In each instance, the
browser opens a new _sub-directory_ in the cache. Since Linux is on my home
system, I even added
rm -rf /home/sp/.netscape/cache/* to /etc/rc.d/rc.local

Am not denying that, what I said was that netscape does not use the cache
as effectively as it should, and even if it does, it does not clear the
whole of the previously cached and unnecessary stuff as well as it should.
You set the disk cache to a very small value, suppose it is 5 mb, the whole
of the 5 Mb is filled up. Then you close your connection and log in the
next day...My question is : Does netscape use the old cached pages in
subdirectories which are nearly filled up earlier, and keep writing to them
ad infinitum, OR does it just go ahead and start creating another 5 mb
cache? How to get around this thing? Thaths?
