Which version of Acroread are you using ? I've been using 4.0 for a while
now and haven't come across this problem so far. (Just tried it out on
one document - PgUp/PgDn/Ctrl-Home/Ctrl_End seems to work just fine !)..
And of course rendering is miles better than the standard pdf viewers that
ship with RH distros..
