Does this parameter have to be passed everytime to the OS (when the mem
amt is changed, or just when the nett mem goes > 64MB).
In fact I had 40MB on my m/c and added another (free) 8MB. I don't face
any pblms, is it that linux is using only 40MB still??? Will check out
tonight (later - tomorrow early morning that is...) though...

2.2.x does support autodetection of > 64 megs RAM, but maybe his BIOS
doesn't support it (calls > 64 M were not supported) ...
