CD-Writing-HOWTO : Briefly mentions kernel options needed for a scsi
cd-rw setup.
SCSI-Howto : A little outdated, but useful....... It's in
HOWTO/unmaintained/ in my RHL 6.2 box.

Basically, enable scsi support, scsi generic support, scsi cd-rom
support and select the scsi low-level device driver for your scsi
adapter, in the kernel. All this stuff can be loaded as modules too. If
the card is still not detected, you may need to pass some parameters to
the kernel via lilo or the modules (if you compiled all this as
modules).

Sorry about being so vague, but I don't have a scsi setup at home :)

Vinu.
