Hi All (& Suresh in paricular :) ),
Been setting up mail on my box at home. I have disabled the SMTP port
on it on the grounds that I don't need a full time mail daemon on my
desktop.
To add mail to my queue, I run sendmail directly from my client. Since
vsnl does not accept mail from non-existant domains, it is necessary to
use the -f parameter on my sendmail call to set the sender ID.
This not an issue with mutt (which I use). However, I have not been
able to do this for KMail (which I am setting up for my Dad). If I
specify any parameters in the "sendmail location" entry in
File->Settings->Network, I get an error on sending mail. How do I set
the parameter ?
