Hi
Few questions?
1)What windows you are talking about? 95 or NT?
2)Do any of them allow to telnet in from other machines?
3)Are you able to telnet your windows box from another windows box.
4)Everything else correct, the problem is o windows box and not on linux's box.
Or
Do you mean to ask that 'I can not telnet into a linux box from a windows
machine'...
In that case...
1)Log in as root
2)Edit /etc/inetd.conf. Uncomment the line for telnetd by removing '#' in front
of it.
3)Restart inetd. On RHL, it's '/etc/rc.d/init.d/inetd restart' at shell prompt.
If you have misframed the question, mail me personally. No point in wasting list
bandwidth for repeatative issues like flaming and RTFM...
Bye
