Hi,
your problem may be with i810 motherboard. I also use the same motherboard and not
able to configure Xserver. This is what I got when I put up my question in LIH mailing
list, it may be of some help to you....
The current RHL 6.2 i810 kernel drivers (2.2.14-12) have problems on certain
motherboards. I suggest you wait for a few more days for the upcoming PCQ CD-ROM which
features the latest RHL 6.2 kernel (2.2.16-3) and an accompanying article on how to
install the kernel. The new kernel fixes the i810 X Windows problem on most mother
boards and also has built in sound drivers for the i810.
In case you are able to fix your problem let me know at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Best of Luck
