Or just edit /etc/lilo.conf to point to your new vmlinuz and map files
(both in /boot). Of course, backup lilo.conf first and make sure your
/boot is also backed up somewhere.
Run lilo -t (test mode) to be sure it is ok. Then run lilo so that
the new kernel is picked up and used.
If there is any hassle - just revert back to the old lilo.conf and the
old kernel, recompile your new kernel and repeat ;)
