Actually I don't have much detailed idea about squid.
Please if you have time then I would like to have detailed steps to
configure squid with users level access.
I have already installed squid.and it's working perfectly. my proxy ip is
192.168.42.5:80.
Also I tried to find htpaswd program from apache, but it's not installed in
my linux server. Even in squid.conf it's there that for user level access
you need a seperate s/w for authentication. So, I am confused.
Even I don't know how to recompile that squid. Also if I give
proxy_auth /usr/local/squid/etc/passwd or proxy_auth /etc/passwd then I am
getting error.
Please help me out...........
