Hi Binand,

Binand Raj S. saw fit to inform me that:

I tried that too. But after changing the partition type to fd the raid is not started
i.e. putting raidstart /dev/md0 in /etc/rc.d/rc.local does not start raid and even
starting raid from command
prompt does not work if I change the partition type to fd.

In fact as per the documentation after changing the partition type to fd the raid
arrays should be autorun on startup. But that does not happen.

Regards
