Put your ISP's DNS servers in /etc/resolv.conf like this -

# /etc/resolv.conf

search hd2.dot.net.in hd1.dot.net.in
nameserver 202.54.30.2
nameserver 202.54.30.1

> I tried so but was in vain. How can i find out the ip of a given address
