AFAIK the "-F" option to "ls" is for adding the "/", "*" etc at the end of
filenames and the "--color" option is for the color part.
If U want this permanently for all users, add the following to u'r
/etc/profile
alias ls="ls -F --color"
I U want this only for u'rself put the line in ~/.profile (the .profile
file in u'r home directory)
So go ahead and ensoy...
