[LIH] http authentication logout

hi,
i'm working on a project in php, the user authentication is being done using
HTTP authentication.The problem is for the user to end the session , he has
to close the browser,does anybody know of how to have a logout mechanism for
the same(i'm not asking about a method using cookies ).
