I am a plain application programmer and know not much
of Linux. However, I had used Xenix and SCO Unix about 5
years ago and there the Server offered multiple consoles
(Alt-F<n>) and could be used like one of the terminals
attached(PCs with VTERM). Can I install Linux opting for
Server installation and still use it like a workstation with
KDE ?. At present I have R.H.6.1(PCQ CD) installed as a
workstation. I had attempted a server installation but on
completion I found a text mode screen and chose to
re-install it as a workstation. Can someone tell me how to
have the Server and use it as a Workstation too ?
