Hurray, my printer now works!
I recently shifted from RHL6.2 to SUSE6.3 coz in
former nothing works else my
moniter and keyboard(of course cdrom & FDD do) well
its strange but true.
Now using Yast & SAX I was able to run X (KDE env) and
my printer Epson stylus
460(inkjet) but still my Modem doesnt.
Yast is simply cool!!.
Here is my story of printer instalation,
YAST> System Administration |
--> Integrate Hardwwware Into System
|
--> Configure Printes -->
select port lp0(LPI in dos/win) printer epsonc -->
size a4 bla bla bla
if you are wondering which machine i have then I'll
end suspence here!
its PIII with i810e m/b with integrated sound and
graphics, 32mb ram
....
