Hi,
After going through the Text-Terminal-HOWTO I used ttyW0..10 devices and
fixed the inittab file
to run getty on these devices.
I remembered Binand telling me to use ttyW0..10 devices for dumb terminals.
then init q
I got the login prompt on the dumb teminal. Logged in successfully.
