hi all, I have two domains a and b in a i have one linux m/c with sendmail configured on it. two m/c in a and two m/c in b running on win95. i created user c in linux m/c and enter the ips of all win95 m/c in hosts file . now when i connect linux m/c for sendmail with outlook express(pop and smtp servers are linux.a),from any m/c on domain b after connecting , time out occurs. I found the solution from lists archive it says i have to uncomment the nowait lines of pop2, pop3 from /etc/inetd.conf file but after doing so , problem remains. I am running on redhat6.2(june pcq). my smtp server works fine , it deleivers message. and i can see it from my linux consol. I also placed the entries in my hosts file of win95 also.
