Hi, This is krishna. I have confiugred Samba, and added a printer in the smb.conf. The printer in the smb.conf, does not exists in the /etc/printcap. (Since I don't actully need to print anything on printer, but whatever files are send for printing on this samba printer, I have to capture them and process later. The problem : -------------- I'm getting files from the windows in the linux spool directory (The spool directory according to smb.conf), but when the printing becomes faster and once there are 1000 files in the spool directory, I start loosing some files. i.e I'm not able to get all the files which are sent from Windows in the spool directory. On windows the printer dirver is Generic/Text only. Each file size is fixed, round about 650 kb. Can anyone help me. How do I get all the files which are sent from windows in the spool directory without loosing any.
