Hi friends, Here we are trying to install Red Hat 6.2 on our new server. At the partition creation screen we created partitions on the first hard disk /, /boot, /usr etc. and then we created partitions of equivalent size on the second hard disk with partition type as raid. Now the button to create raid devices is getting highlighted, but when we try to create a raid device : mount point - / partition type - linux native raid device - md0 raid type - raid1 partition to be mirrored - sdb1 After selecting all the above stuff from the pop up menus and saying ok gives me the following error : mount point already existing. The above error comes even if I try to create raid devices for other mount points. Now we are stuck up at disk druid screen, since we are unable to create raid devices and I have already experienced that I cannot create raid devices for / and /boot after installtion. Hence I want to create it here during installation. We are trying to mirror two hard disks using raid1. The size of both the hrad disks is 9GB. Can anybody help us please ?
