hello all
my modem is a winmodem and that is the reason i cannot get it up..hope
somebody develops drivers for PCI winmodems in linux soon enough..
i tried an external gvc in linux aided by atul chitnis's mar99 PCQ article
and i could connect.. steady too.. thanks chitnis..!
thank for the links and help.. i shall replace my internal modem with an
external one soon..
all of you guys out there are great and helpful..
