Hi
According to what I have seen on the Net, and on the Zoot-list, there
appear to be no drivers for the SM56 Motorola modem. The biggest problem
with the Winmodems is that they have no (or very little) driver support in
Linux.
However, Lucent Technologies modems have got Linux drivers.

I have tried ttyS0 thru ttyS3, but none of them seems to work. It is not a
ques of just IRQ's... And BTW, the SM56 modem generally uses IRQ 12, that
it has to share with the AGP card (atleast in my case : SiS6326)
