I have configured pop account on my linux server using
/etc/inetd.conf file. I have uncommented the lines
containing pop2 and pop3 and imap and restarted inetd.
The problem is when i try to connect to the server
over the network using another Linux machine with
netscape or kmail for some user on the pop linux
server, it gives error: could not connect
It is prompting for password but when i have entered
the correct password it gives error. Have I missed
something or should I use MS Outlook to retrive the
mail?
