Hello, I've finally decided to junk my Aztech PCI 168 sound card in favour of a linux supported sound card, even though the aforesaid card gives *excellent* sound quality in windoze. My local vendor offers me two choices, both of which have drivers for linux. Creative PCI 128 (based on the ensonique ES1371 cipset) Yamaha PCI (based on the YMF 724 chipset) Using only quality of sound as the criterion, could anyone suggest which of the two sound cards would be a better choice?
