Linux has limits on usable disk space in a single partition, but thats
in Terabytes, not in GB.
RHL does not have a problem with large hard disks, but the bootloader
lilo that ships with RHL has the limitation that it cannot boot from
beyond 1024 cylinders.
To bypass this, make a /boot partition within the first 1024 cylinders,
keep the remaining anywhere else. Or you can download the latest
version of lilo from http://www.freshmeat.net which does not have this
problem.

You may have to move partitions around if you are installing Linux
after windows on an already partitioned disk, getting the latest lilo
will be the best solution.
To install this: (assuming /boot is beyond 1024 cyl)
Install Linux. *Make a boot floppy*. Download lilo to windows (or this
can wait till you connect through Linux). Boot off the floppy (or with
loadlin). Once Linux starts, login as root. Mount the windows partition
where lilo has been downloaded (or download lilo directly to Linux).
Untar the zip in /tmp. Login on another console (alt+F2)as a normal
user (non root).
cd /tmp/lilo*
make
su -c make install
<give root password here>
/* IIRC, there is a setup script provided which does all this */
switch back to first console (Alt+F1)
edit /etc/lilo.conf
replace linear by LBA32.
save the file
run /sbin/lilo.

Thats it. (I would recommend reading the documentation that comes along
with lilo first, its useful to read the manuals first).
